I took your advice and made granola for the first time. My husband loved it! I loved the price

I got a tip to add the dried fruit to the mix after you bake it. Then you don’t have to worry about the fruit burning or drying out in the oven.

I’ve just recently started my foray into granola, and in all the recipes I’ve seen, they say to leave out the dried fruit while baking. Then, take the granola out of the oven, stir, and add the fruit while it’s cooling. That might solve the burned fruit problem!

oooh! i have all the ingredients for granola in my cupboard but as yet un-granola’d. the wee guy and i will be making some soon as we both like it with honey in yogurt

In its finished form, do you end up with flat pieces? Or is already more crumbly?
