Hello everyone. I’m just writing a quick note to let you know I’m home safe and sound. The kids and I got back yesterday evening from our 4-night retreat in Bamfield. We all survived, and had a marvelous time. Mostly. I will fill you all in on Tuesday. Today I am taking it easy, doing laundry, and uploading about eleventy billion photos. And on Monday I will be posting my fabulous maternity leave guide (which I know you’ve all been waiting for eagerly).
So how was the trip overall? I have some great stories. I have some awful stories. I have a whole new appreciation for my husband. If you get a chance to go on retreat, I suggest you jump at it. It’s a pain in the butt, but altogether it’s worth it.
Now I’m off to see what the rest of you have been up to. I can’t wait to plug back in to my internet lifeline and catch up. Going without Twitter for this long has given me the shakes, and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

Ah, the laundry. I just ran a big load yesterday and we’re still on vacation.
