I totally laughed out loud. Maybe because I remember driving up and seeing the evidence of the finger friends so I can just imagine how much more they've done since then. My kids draw with chalk all over our back porch. I often go back and forth with giving the kids real grown up paint brushes that they can dip in a pail of water (these have never been used in real paint) and they pretend to paint the house and outdoor furniture. This weekend we had a BBQ and I forgot to leave out the paint brush activity, and since I keep relying on the rain to wash it away and it didn't come before then, at the last minute I was out there with a bucket full of soapy water scrubbing away. So instead of chalky butts our guests got wet butts.
