One of my husband's coworkers is doing this. As well as the prostate cancer reason, he gave the additional motivation as "you can't offer a moustache ride without a moustache." *smirk*

That is really adorable. Maybe we could do a grow-your-leg-hair for ovarian cancer awareness month in July?

That's a good cause. Though, if I saw a man with moustache, prostate cancer awereness wouldn't be the first thing that came to mind! By the way, in my country men are strongly encouraged to have their PSA levels tested routinely after age 50.

Great cause!

My husband always has a Mo. He shaved it off for a while so he wouldn't have to wear a face net at work, but I talked him into growing it back. He just looks more normal with a moustache somehow. I have always found the moustache less irritating than the 5 o'clock shadow that he has when he tries to be clean-shaven.

My Dad has always had a moustache, no beard, so for me they're totally The Bomb. I'm not sure I get the connection between moustaches and prostates but... okay, I'm just going to stop right there before I get asked to leave this blog and never return.

What a clever campaign! I really like how creative it is.

The first year that we fundraised for Livestrong (Lance Armstrong's cancer foundation), they had a partnership with the John Wayne cancer foundation. Wayne had charged his children with using their family influence to cure what killed him, particularly cancers for men. They thought that Livestrong was a good way to reach out to men, since so many of the campaigns are really women-focused.

My hubby is doing movember too, complete with handlebars. He likes to wear a hat my parents sent him from Alberta that reads "The Bullpen" and has a picture of a bull. He thinks it makes him look like an Albertan and that looking like an Albertan is hilarious. (I was an Albertan before moving to the coast.) Yes, we also have a deal that the 'stache is toast after movember.
