I've heard that before, and been meaning to try it out! It had no huge issue with my skin, until about 2 months ago. Blah.

Do you dilute it with water, or use it straight from the jar?

Okay, backup. Honey? Really? This really works?

Like....straight outta the jar? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this one.

I'm willing to try anything though. I've always had terrible skin, which has gotten unbelievably more terrible since I had these children. My whole face is one big blackhead, and I'd love to go back on the Retin-A, but that stuff causes SEVERE birth defects, and they won't even prescribe it to a woman in her childbearing years. Honey sounds like a MUCH safer option.... if it really works?

Okay, I'm back to share my experience. I just tried some rosemary-infused honey (gift from friend). I don't use it in my cooking much but I needed some today, then I remembered I should try it on my face. Oohwee! I scraped a nice glob off the wooden spoon onto my face, left the room where a fly was buzzing around cuz I was afraid it might land on me and how gross would that be??? I loved how it felt - like it was tightening my pores. Then I washed it off- not too fun, very sticky, next tiem I will put my hair up! I really yucky-upped one of my facecloths too, but afterwards? What glowing radiant skin I have! I felt like I'd just had an expensive facial. Thanks for this Amber!

To wash I splash water on my face first. Then I spread around 1/2 teaspoon of honey on my face with my fingertips, and let it sit for a minute. I've heard there are some people who do it as a face mask and leave it for 5-10 minutes, but I've never tried. Then I rinse it with warm water. The honey dissolves really quickly and easily in water. That's all there is to it. I've heard of some people adding brown sugar or baking soda to make a scrub, but I've never tried and I don't think it's necessary. But the brown sugar might just be delicious. ;)

So how exactly do you wash with honey? Do you let it sit, apply water to your face first? Scrub with a washcloth? :) I am full of questions.

Quite tempted to try this! I've lost the plot with 'skin care regimes' - every product I buy seems to either dry out my skin or bring me out in spots. Maybe honey is the answer??! Does it need to be special honey though? Cause honey's quite expensive here so I may have to buy budget!

More natural beauty tips please!!

Wow! Neat idea. I've heard of oatmeal masks and avocado and cucumber but not honey. I think I might try that today!

I've been thinking about honey ever since I first saw you mention it. We need to go shopping, and I'm not sure why I've been so hesitant to follow your suggestion as our skin is quite similar.
