I hate the sniffly season too. Funny how you wrote that the virus gave up on you. It had no choice since Mommy needs to take care of everyone else.

So sorry to hear you all have been sick, Our family too. I think it is just the season. Your photo of your husband with his newspaper made me laugh. I think my husband goes everywhere with his daily paper (not just the bathroom, lol). Could this be a husband thing?

I’m sorry about the sickness! Little ones do get very clingy when sick. And mothers? You’re right, they have no time to be sick!
We just had 3 whole weeks of sickness here (and husband is away), but my girl was sick only three days, and for the first time ever didn’t end up at the hospital, which is a wonderful and encouraging, and so the whole sickness thing didn’t weigh too much one me, I found! Still, it’s only November, and there’s a whole lot more of winter ahead:(

Ahhh, poor things! It’s sniffly time over here too. Doesn’t help we have a snot-nosed neighbor boy who insists on sticking his hands all over the baby’s face. Grrrr.

I think we just got over ours. I hesitate to say (write) that out loud, because now it will probably swoop back in and make me sorry. That picture of Jacob on your back: He has the sweetest sniffly-baby face. Enduring and confused and sleepy. And our cat is like a furry magnet now that it’s cold! She’s on my foot right now.

About a month ago I had the flu. I basically slept for a couple of days and started to recover. Now I think I’m battling a different strain.

I went decades without being sick, and now I’m lucky enough to win the Cold & Flu lottery twice.

I think I have H1N2…or something.

That sucks that everyone has been sick over there. We’ve managed to avoid the flu here but K has brought a cold home from preschool every second week. And he’s been kind enough to share it with Em. Yay!

I was SO hopeful that the flu bug would bypass me since I didn’t seem to catch it when Mike was sick a few weeks ago. Sadly, no such luck. On the plus side it was really just 2 days of ick factor and I’m on my way to recovery

However, so far so good in regards to the kidlets. A little bit stuffy, some teething issues but other than that no major illness (knock on wood!)
